Enala A. Mwashitete is a mother, entrepreneur, and community activist running for State Representative in Delaware’s 16th District. Her story begins in Tanzania, where she was raised before moving to the United States at a young age. That journey shaped her belief that opportunity — not circumstance — should determine a person’s future.
As an entrepreneur, Enala has spent her career helping small businesses grow, creating employment opportunities, and connecting people with the resources they need to succeed.

Invest in Better Education
Every Delaware child deserves a quality education and the skills to succeed in college, a career, or entrepreneurship. Enala will work to strengthen our schools, support teachers and educators, and ensure students are prepared for the realities of today's workforce. Strong schools build stronger families, communities, and economies.
Support Small Businesses & Create Jobs
Employment is the surest path to economic independence. As a business owner, Enala knows what it takes to start, grow, and sustain a business. She will fight to make Delaware a place where entrepreneurs can build companies, small businesses can thrive, and residents can find meaningful work — so economic growth benefits every community.
Safer and Stronger Communities
Delaware families deserve to feel safe in their homes, neighborhoods, and schools. Enala supports bringing residents, businesses, schools, community organizations, and public safety professionals together to strengthen our communities — because true public safety means expanding access to opportunity, education, employment, and positive activities, not just responding to crime.
